On the streets of Beirut, right around noon, the smell of beef shawarma roasting on a spit is never far off! Enjoy this Middle Eastern street food staple from the comfort of your own home… Topped off with Creamy Tahini Tarator Sauce!

2.2 lb  very thinly sliced roast, rib eye or butter steak
⅔ cup olive oil
⅔ cup red wine vinegar
2 ½  tablespoons Beef Shawarma Spice  

Combine all ingredients. Marinade for 30 minutes or up to 12 hours. Preheat the oven at 425°F.  Place beef with remaining marination in a 9*13 inch baking pan for 40 mins or until thoroughly cooked or cook on a panini grill or flat griddle for 10 to 15 mins. Serve hot, wrapped in a pita, with chopped tomatoes, parsley, onions and tahini tarator sauce.
